As the
Stores and Packing Supervisor you will play a vital role in
leading the team responsible for the warehouse, stores and packing processes and ensure its smooth operation.

What you will do:

Set priorities for the team as a whole and for individuals, delegating work to ensure task completion on time; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the Operations team to ensure continuity of supply and operations through timely, accurate issue of materials to point of use. Perform stores and warehouse tasks in accordance with the procedures as required.
Maintain HR portal for the team including labour booking and holiday approvals (<2 consecutive weeks), flex days, sickness management and return to work.
Provide input on resource planning.
Provide input to employee performance evaluations.

What we are looking for:

Experience of leading or supervising a team
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and shipping processes
Ability to work to challenging deadlines to meet targets
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of diverse people
Interpersonal skills to liaise with all levels of management and staff
Experience with MS Office packages, an indepth knowledge of MRP systems and material issue transactions as well as a Fork Lift License would be beneficial.
