Complaint's Administration Assistant (Apprentice)


Reporting To:
VoCC Manager


PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • The Complaint's Administration Assistant will deliver a range of support duties under the direction of their supervisor. They will be involved in using different IT systems to log complaints, or customer satisfaction data and undertake complaint call backs, working across the Housing Residential Services.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience by working as a Lampton's Apprentice. Apprenticeships give you the opportunity and support to develop new workplaced skills in an organisation committed to your professional success. As a Lampton Apprentice, you will fully commit to job training requirements of the post alongside your normal daytoday job. The post holder will complete a course of study and/or all learning and development requirements of the role.
  • A Lampton Apprentice is expected to engage with the additional opportunities developed specifically for Lampton Council Apprentices. You will utilise the support on offer to maximise the benefits to your professional development. You will have the opportunity to participate in a supportive environment to develop the behaviours, knowledge and professional skills required of the role and the team. You will commit to your professional development plan, set out at the beginning of your Apprenticeship. Lampton's Apprentices are expected to take ownership of the tasks set out by their line manager. Apprentices understand the importance of managing both professional and learning responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To maintain effective working relationships both within their own team and with wider stakeholders.
  • To use appropriate methodologies, tools and best practice as directed by line manager.
  • To understand and adhere to Council policies, statutes, and government legislation in their work area.
  • To undertake duties to meet the needs of the service and work within established service level agreements.
  • To adhere to monitoring, compliance, and audit procedures.
  • To contribute to the evaluation of business processes and, using best practice, identify options for improving efficiency and effectiveness of operational delivery.
  • To be responsible for understanding and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation and communicate risks and issues as appropriate.
  • To meet all learning commitments of the apprenticeship as directed by your line manager, the Apprenticeships Manager, or the learning/training provider. Assigned qualifications and an end point assessment must be completed. This can include presentations, portfolios, units of assessment and exams.
