Payroll Administrator

We are integrated and resold by some of the worlds' leading business communications vendors, as well as major payment service providers.

We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our UK team.


THE OPPORTUNITY:


Due to the international growth of the Group and a cumulative increase in activity with new customers and partners we are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team.

This position will report to the Group Finance Manager and ideally have significant experience of payroll administration and reporting.

The Group currently outsources all its payroll requirements, both in the UK and internationally, so this is a hands-on position to lead the co-ordination of the payroll within the monthly accounts process, with the additional opportunity to improve business processes and enhance existing ways of working.


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


  • Managing the Group's UK, North American and Australian payroll functions, liaising with external payroll providers in each region
  • Preparing payroll amendment reports for joiners / leavers and all data changes across all payrolls
  • Reviewing payroll reports to ensure accuracy of processing
  • Acting as the first point of contact within the Group for payroll queries
  • Liaising with wider departments for inputs required for payroll and ensuring payroll deadlines are met
  • Preparing monthly payroll journals for processing
  • Updating monthly holiday pay accrual schedules
  • Monthly payroll analysis for each entity for financial reporting
  • Preparing bank payments for payrolls and employee expenses
  • Administration of UK pension scheme and liaising with pension provider
  • Ensuring staff related benefits are recorded and paid as required
  • Ensuring the UK salary sacrifice, EV Car scheme is administered correctly
  • Preparing employee benefitsinkind schedules and reporting to HMRC
  • Assisting with the annual external audit process in relation to payroll
  • Liaising with People team and other departments to control annual bonus / commission plans
  • Reviewing employee expense claims inline with company policies
  • Developing and maintaining processes for employee expenses and procurement
  • Involvement in new Company employee expense platform rollout
  • Working with the People team to develop assist with any finance team queries that may arise
  • Any other tasks as and when required to support the business

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Excellent knowledge of UK payroll requirements and reporting
  • Experience with international payroll is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team, and are willing to support others when required
  • Passion for continuous improvement, not afraid to challenge norms to best meet company goals.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
