We are looking for
EPR Workstream Support for our
NHS client at the Cumberland Infirmary in
Carlisle

This is a full time role, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Site:
at the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle, to start asap for a period of 3 months initially


Pay rate £13-£15/h

Job Summary:


The NHS in Cumbria is moving through a programme of significant transformational change involving the procurement and implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR), enabling delivery of transformative clinical models of service and organisational integration.

Key to delivering this change is our delivery of supporting information technology required for services to be modern, safe, effective and well governed.


This is a post within the Digital Programmes team that requires an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated individual who responds positively to new challenges.

The EPR Workstream Support Facilitator will manage the delivery of one or more Products on one or more EPR workstreams independently and in situations of limited complexity.

The post holder will have experience of working in a programme/project management environment, ideally on EPR implementations.

Duties and responsibilities:
~ Promoting the wider public good in all actions, acting in a morally, legally and socially appropriate manner in dealings with stakeholders and members of the portfolio teams and the organisation
~ Identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups
~ Developing and managing working groups
~ Establish and maintain close working partnerships with the other key staff within Digital Programmes and also the wider Digital Healthcare teams
~ Ensuring that the project involves staff, service and modernisation change leads in all aspects and that their roles are clearly defined and understood
~ Constantly seek to drive up the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the service the team provides
~ Empowering and inspiring others to deliver successful projects
~ Ensure all policy and service developments are impact assessed in respect of equality and clinical safety requirements
~ Consolidating and documenting the fundamental components of workstreams or products (scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues and quality requirements)
~ Determining the best means of satisfying requirements within the context of workstream / product objectives and constraints, i.e. developing solutions
~ To support benefits identification, baselining and benefits realisation planning work within the EPR Programme
~ Plan, organise, and facilitate workshops and meetings


Person specification:

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge
  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • Evidence of continuous personal development

Experience:


  • Demonstrable experience of working in a project environment, preferably using PRINCE
  • Securing the provision of resources needed to deliver a project
product/deliverable

  • Evidence of practical facilitation skills
  • Researching, assessing and prioritising stakeholder requirements
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Evidence of working with multidisciplinary staff across diverse professional organisations
  • Options appraisal

Knowledge:

  • Formal project management methodologies and tools
  • Principles of team development & leadership
  • Principles of Benefits Management
  • Information Governance & Cyber Security requirements
  • Principles of risk & issue management
  • Equality legislation and best practice

Job Type:
Temporary contract

£13.00-£15.00 per hour
