Overview:
We are seeking a detail-orientated Planner to join our Transport team. As a planner you will be responsible for producing accurate route planning ensuring optimum utilisation of all fleet vehicles.

Duties:

Strategically plan efficient delivery routes to maximise cost savings and improve customer satisfaction.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and address any challenges or potential solutions.
Ensure legal compliance with legislation and company policies.
Collaborate with Planning Manager, Senior Planner and Shift Managers to manage rota, absence, holidays and driver communication.
Evaluate routes for profitability, maintain company standards, and promote a positive health and safety culture.

Qualifications:

Core

Effective Communication: Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and various teams. Fluency in English is required.
Organisational Skills: Strong prioritisation and attention to detail when managing various tasks and responsibilities.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel and comfortable using multiple IT systems.
