Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to groundwork and construction projects.

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties:

• Excavating and preparing construction sites
• Laying foundations, drainage systems, and pipework
• Operating machinery such as diggers and compactors
• Assisting with the installation of utilities, including water and gas lines
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on existing structures
• Mixing and pouring concrete
• Backfilling trenches and compacting soil
• Clearing debris and maintaining a clean work area

Skills:

• Previous experience in groundworks or construction is essential
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Proficient in operating machinery such as diggers, compactors, and power tools
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work
