Description

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a fantastic business based in Gateshead on the appointment of a Finance Assistant.

You will be responsible for the transactional workload within the department.


Responsibilities:


  • Daily monitoring of all purchase orders raised and matching to purchase invoices.
  • Production of weekly sales invoices
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Statement Reconciliation
  • Support of month end close for AP and AR including statement reconciliations.
  • Assisting with month end journals
  • Quarterly VAT return preparation
  • Processing of biweekly payment run
  • Processing of staff expenses

Skills & Knowledge Specification

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance role.
  • Excellent excel and computer skills are required, as is the passion to meet deadlines with accurate information.
  • Strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £27,000.00 per year
