We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our CNC team Working across four brands the role will require you to operate a CNC machine from setup to strip down.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • A CNC Operator at Fourdot primarily cuts shapes from plastics, wood and composite materials to the parameters specified on the drawing. A vital part of their job is ensuring the accuracy of their machinery.
The expectation of a CNC Operator is to perform duties and responsibilities that include:


  • Operating the CNC router machine (Load, off load, Etc)
  • Setting up jobs by nesting and tooling via the provided software
  • Completing preventative maintenance on the CNC Router machines and accessories
  • Fitting the right tools to cut the parts to the specification on the drawings
  • Performing proper setup and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
  • Setting and understanding tolerance levels and cutting speeds
  • Quality checking all material before and after the machining process
  • Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are carried out to the highest standard possible
  • Following the specific work plan to efficiently complete the daily machining tasks set and reporting any issues to your line supervisor

Job Requirements:


  • You will have experience working as a CNC Operator in an Engineering environment
  • Experience preferred of operating a manual lathe or vertical mill.
  • To have worked to strict deadlines previously
  • To have the knowledge to communicate at all levels
  • To have knowledge of machining and preferably CAD/CAM programming
