Job Scope:


Handling inbound telephony contacts and queries relating to the travel industry with a view of securing, up-selling and cross-selling a range of products and services.

Handling inbound telephony contacts and queries relating to the travel industry with a view of securing, up-selling and cross-selling a range of products and services.


Purpose:


  • Responding to telephony based queries
  • Proving information, advice and guidance regarding based on the individual circumstances of the potential customer
  • Providing valueadded customer service in relation to promotions and additional services

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:


  • To strive toward the achievement of Key Performance Indicators whilst maintaining outstanding quality
  • Continuously demonstrate excellent customer service skills (including questioning, probing, listening, establishing rapport, matching and closing)
  • You will work with your colleagues across the department to identify and highlight trends in any customer queries
  • Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge to enhance the customer experience
  • Actively participate in all development opportunities including coaching and training
  • Working towards targets and clear objectives set by the business
  • Resolving customers' queries the first time they are raised, collaborating closely with other departments to ensure resolution and a success customer experience
  • Recognising customer contact trends and giving feedback to the team leader
  • Having good personal timekeeping and selfawareness of the impact on others around you

Personal Qualities

  • Previous experience within the leisure and tourist industry, or other similar roles
  • Flexable for both the company and customers
  • Strong team working ability
  • Ambitious and willing to accept new challenges
  • Flexibility and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Be passionate about being the best you can be and want to achieve targets
  • Ability to recognise own areas of development and activity work toward the development of these areas demonstrating learning agility
  • Outstanding timekeeping skills and self

Salary:
£10.40 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • SUNDERLAND: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Travel industry: 1 year (preferred)
