Practice Manager
Salary circa £40,000 dependent on skills and experience + bonus/performance scheme + pension

Full Time - flexibility required

Leeds LS1- on-site parking

The Dentist is an award winning Private Dental Practice in North Leeds. Operating from a high end purpose built facility with latest in digital technology and workflow. You will be part of an excellent team of clinicians, nurses and reception team.


Due to expansion we are now looking for a practice manager to help us develop further business growth, along with the provision of excellent care for our patients.

Previous dental experience preferred, but would consider offering the role to an individualwith excellent managerial, HR and marketing credentials who can demonstrate an ability to call on previous experience to adapt to a new industry.

**Role responsibilities but not limited to: - **- HR oversight duties together with peninsula
- recruitment and staff retention
- appraisal reviews and disciplinary action when required
- induction, on boarding and training oversight directly with lead nurse
- full governance requirements HR & staff CPD, contracts/job descriptions
- managing staff and ensuring they have regularly support to keep motivated
- responsibility to oversee all CQC governance
- direct liaison with head of departments of nursing/reception for audit delegation
- minute taking for all staff meetings
- full control of CQC matrix for streamlined management/access/interpretation
- regular update to be provided to directors
- health and safety compliance and necessary risk assessments
- oversee reception and patient journey
- responsible for implementation of denplan scheme
- management of patient complaints, feedback and questionnaires
- management of debtors
- reporting of KPI's including phone system
- liaison with marketing personnel on strategies and immediate needs for the practice
- be aware of strategies and plans and assistance with implementation
- financial oversight with projections and KPI's and liaison with book-keeper to assist
- monitoring and awareness of the general condition of the practice

  • Oversee Dental Laboratory
  • Property Portfolio oversight and / or management as needed
