As the Automation Process SME, you will be responsible for the contribution to the development of the business analysis capability within the Automation Team.

You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative automation opportunities that will help drive efficiency across the organisation.


We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Automation expert to help us achieve these ambitious plans across our expanding global technology platforms.

About the role
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with team members globally - in the UK, Manila and India.

  • Be the Automation Process SME and provide an advisory service to the business. Champion automation and providing guidance/ support to wide ranging stakeholders to elicit and articulate clear customer and business goals, as well as shape automation journeys.
  • Focus on understanding customer problems and identify automation opportunities for improvements to drive efficiencies across the organisation. Identify and highlight where processes are not suitable for automation as optimisation using Lean 6 Sigma methodologies is required.
  • Takes responsibility to work with customers to methodically investigate, analyse, review, define and document business requirements/user stories for all automation technical teams (e.g., RPA, BPM etc). To enable effective and successful delivery of value to the organisation and customer via change initiatives
  • Matrix management of a team of analysts using strong leadership and mentoring skills

About you
You will have proven experience successfully delivering automation projects.

This is a role within a technical team so experience with technical project delivery, or involvement in technical projects in general, is an advantage.

You should have a background in process automation and business analysis, with project management experience.


Your experience in these areas will allow you to manage a variety of automation projects successfully, working with stakeholders to deliver best value, anticipating issues, and managing dependencies for effective deliveries.

You will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to organise effectively.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to give stakeholders visibility and confidence, able to negotiate where necessary, and ensuring the team have a clear sense of direction and purpose.

You will enjoy responding to evolving challenges and be proactive in looking for ways to improve team processes.

You will have a key focus on teamwork, and on shared responsibility.

You will be a natural collaborator, playing a strongly supportive role within the team in the face of challenging deadlines and ambitious projects.
