Description

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust are looking for a dynamic, caring, and enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Breast Imaging team.

The department provides screening and symptomatic services for the county of Shropshire and parts of mid-Wales. We have recently implemented Tomosynthesis and are looking to implement Contract Enhanced Mammography and Vacuum Assisted Excisions.

We are supported by an excellent team of Consultant Radiographers, Advanced Practitioners, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, Breast Care Nurses, Imaging Assistants and Clerical staff.

We have newly installed GE Pristina equipment in both departments and on our mobile units. Our ultrasound equipment is also GE.


We embrace new ways of working to meet the challenges currently faced, this includes going paperlite for our Breast Screening Programme.
