Rexel UK Limited have a great opportunity for an individual with the ability to deliver fantastic customer service to join our Newport branch as an Internal Sales Person.
_- As an Internal Sales Person you are the key connection to provide effective management of existing customer accounts and developing new business to meet Branch targets by providing an excellent sales service._
_The Role_
- As an Internal Sales Person for Rexel, your main responsibilities will be to:_
- _Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty_
- _Consistently generate profitable sales for the branch, via the telephone by effectively using a range of techniques and resources_
- _Identify and action appropriate steps to rectify any shortfalls_
- _Manage customer queries in relation to invoices, orders or stock_
- _Understand the customer cycle by proactively targeting new customers and developing them into consistent live trading accounts_
- _Embracing digital channels to enhance the customer offering by proactively promoting the webshop and other digital offerings._
- _Collaborating with customers, colleagues and suppliers by supporting with promotions, sales events, supplier days and new product launches_
- _Utilising IT systems such as M3, Vecta and Microsoft Office to support the customer experience_
- _Supporting in other areas of the branch as required_
_The Person_
- To be a successful Internal Sales Person at Rexel, you will be able to demonstrate the following:_
- _Experience of working within a sales / target driven role _
- _To be customer centric with a customer service background_
- _To demonstrate proactive sales via phone, face-to-face & online_
- _To have had experience of working in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail_
- _A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure _
- _An ability to recognise sales opportunities_
- _An ability to embrace change and new technologies_
- The Internal Sales role is a FULL TIME permanent position MONDAY
- FRIDAY and we offer a pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays. _
