Are you looking for a Lab Based role? Are you highly motivated and proactive?

A successful and expanding Food Company are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Contaminants team at their site in Hertfordshire.

This is a permanent, full-time role with hours of Monday-Friday 9-5.

Role Overview

Prepare samples and reagents for laboratory testing using extraction, filtration and dilution.
Perform extractions and minor Analysis of samples as required.
Provide support in the Instrument room as required and under the supervision of Senior Staff.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy and well stocked of Lab consumables
Ensure all work is conducted in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)

Requirements:

Excellent Communication Skills and Attention to Detail and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
Proactive and analytical approach to work.
A Strong interest in Scientific/Lab Based work.
Education in a Scientific Discipline or experience in a similar environment would be highly beneficial but is not a necessity.
