£23,200 - £24,300 per annum

Premier Contract Supplies are suppliers of sanitary-ware to the new build market, buying products from a large mix of suppliers, helping house builders create a specification and then distributing from one of our seven warehouses across the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our small team in Sevenoaks.

We are looking for someone with warehousing experience, who is hard-working, conscientious and passionate about contributing towards the smooth and professional delivery of products to customers at their building sites.


Warehouse Operative Responsibilities Include:


  • Packing, picking and labelling of stock for final delivery
  • Loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
  • Checking and receipt of goods delivered
  • Recording and distribution of products to the correct location for putaway
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
  • To comply with company procedures with the use of mechanical handling equipment
  • Corresponding with internal departments when necessary
  • Assisting with stock taking
  • Keeping warehouse/yard area clean and tidy
  • Able to portray a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training provided.

Qualities Needed:


  • Forklift Truck Certificate
  • Counterbalance and Reach (preferred, although training can be provided)
  • Physically fit to perform manual tasks as required
  • Organised and good attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated
  • Confident and able to use own initiative when needed
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Salary:
£23,200.00-£24,300.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

  • FLT Counterbalance (preferred)
  • FLT Reach (preferred)
