Description
Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Communications Officer to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicantDeveloping and delivering communications campaigns and content that supports the council's priorities, as set out in the Strategic Plan.
Focused communications activity on Adult Social Care work, with particular focus on Adult Social Care Reform for the council.
Advising senior council leaders, and members, on using internal and external communications channels and tools, consistent with council priorities, objectives, and communication standards.
Working as part of the communications team, and if appropriate, with external agencies, on the delivery of the council's communications plan.
Creating and delivering consistently high-quality communications materials including (but not limited to): digital content, copywriting, proof-reading, liaising with print provider, working with graphic designer.
