Description

Are you a motivated and organized individual with a passion for leading teams and optimizing operations? We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team and contribute to the efficient management of our warehouse facility.

Tasks consist of (but are not restricted to):

Training new Warehouse Operatives within area of responsibility.
People management; Communicate with staff on a regular basis, via one to one's or briefings, to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.
Produce regular reports and statistics as and when required covering KPI's or time keeping.
Ensuring inventories in area of responsibility are accurate.
Ensuring stock movements are recorded accurately.
Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns to Warehouse Management.
Ensure that health and safety requirements meet the set standards and carry out Work Place Inspections or risk assessments.
Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment are well maintained and fit for purpose and that preflight checks are completed daily.
Ensure hazardous materials are stored in accordance with requirements.
Supervisory and Team Leader skills in a similar environment, with the ability to motivate, develop and supervise others.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of warehouse systems.
Analytical and numerical skills.
Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.
Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines.
Relevant qualifications and/or experience required.
