Description

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for an Admin/Finance Assistant for our Pharmacy Group which has retail sites across Glashow, Paisley & Lanarkshire.

You must have the ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work across multiple tasks within required deadlines. Attention to detail together with strong numeracy and communication skills are essential. Strong Excel and MS Office skills are vital with experience in the use of Xero accounting software being advantageous. Training will be provided where required.

The role will include using Xero to:
Process a wide variety of supplier invoices
Raise invoices
Complete bank reconciliations
Prepare supplier payment runs
Enter journals
Support the preparation of the VAT return and carry out month end processes


You will also:

  • Collate monthly payroll information
  • Support the administration of the HR function

Carry out general administration duties including:

  • maintaining databases
- dealing with correspondence, filing and printing
Driving licence required as role will include visits across the retail branch network. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.


Salary:
£11.00-£12.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Finance & Bookeeping: 1 year (required)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
