Job description

Our Thames Valley office based in Reading, is looking for a confident and outgoing Credit Controller to work full time in our operations department, providing exceptional sales ledger administration and service delivery to our invoice finance clients located across a wide range of industry sectors.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

You will manage the credit control across your portfolio of customers/clients.
You will be responsible for the posting and allocation of collections against your portfolio of customers/clients.
You will build a basic understanding of the businesses that we fund and their products when chasing payment of the invoices/book debts.
You will undertake monthly sales ledger reviews across your portfolio.
You will verify invoices/book debts by checking receipt of goods/services.
You will communicate regularly with clients, customers and your colleagues.
Experience working within a customer facing and/or financial services environment is preferred but not essential as training will be provided

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to get involved within an enthusiastic and passionate team.
Basic understanding of Microsoft word/outlook and excel.
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to varying workloads.

Please note that the salary for this role is between £23k and £28k per annum depending on experience.

Hybrid working will be implemented once training/probation has been completed at which point the applicant will be able to work based on two non office days per week and 3 office days per week.

Our office is located a few minutes away from Reading Train station.
