Experienced Teacher with Leadership / SENCO experience

Interim role April - July 2023; with a possibility of the role becoming permanent

£230 - £300 daily rate


SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking an Experienced Educator to join the SMT at a one form entry Primary School in Hackney, with specific responsibility for SENCO and overseeing EYFS and KS1.

Are you skilled in overseeing the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1?

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you


In this role, you will work closely with the Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher to ensure the smooth running of this one form entry Primay school and to ensure that all their students receive the best possible education.

As SENCO, you will play a vitalrole in identifying and addressing the needs of students with special educational needs.

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to these students, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the school is meetingall statutory requirements related to SEN provision.

In addition to your SENCO responsibilities, you will oversee the early years foundation stage and key stage 1.

You will work with teachers to develop innovative and engaging curricula, and you will ensurethat students are receiving the best possible education during these crucial stages of their development.


You will also lead in phonics and early reading, working closely with the team of teachers to ensure that their students develop strong reading and phonics skills, setting them up for success in later years.

Your leadership in this area will be crucial tothe academic progress of their learners, and you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to ensure their success.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced educator with a strong understanding of SEN provision and the early years foundation stage and key stage 1.

You should be a skilled communicator with the ability to work effectively with students,parents, and staff at all levels.
