Contract: 6 months fix term contract

STFC's Accelerator Science and Technology Centre (ASTeC) mission is to build the 'Big Science' facilities of the future; we design, build and operate particle accelerators and make major contributions to many of the biggest projects in the world today, workingwith high-profile national and international partners.
ASTeC Programmes Group are looking to appoint a temporary Project Support team member.
Your duties will include:
- Help develop a stock management system to support the PIP II SCM project.
- Support projects with meeting organization and minute taking.
- Support project managers with report writing.
- Support the PMO with the development of templates, online forms and project dashboards.
- Any other duties as required by the Line Manager appropriate with this position
What we are looking for:
- An enthusiastic individual who will be able to bring new ideas and working practices across our department. (S&I)
- A post holder with good interpersonal skills, good time management, prioritising and keyboard skills. (S&I)
- An individual with some experience of working with SharePoint provision. (S)
- An individual who has experience working as in a project environment (S & I)
Essential:
- Evidence of practical aptitude, ability to do 'hands on' tasks (S&I)
- Good technical communication skills and ability to work using own initiative (S&I)
