Band B £20,129 - £21,879

Daresbury Laboratory, Keckwick Ln, Daresbury, Warrington WA4 4AD
Contract: 6 months fix term contract

STFC's Accelerator Science and Technology Centre (ASTeC) mission is to build the 'Big Science' facilities of the future; we design, build and operate particle accelerators and make major contributions to many of the biggest projects in the world today, workingwith high-profile national and international partners.

ASTeC Programmes Group are looking to appoint a temporary Project Support team member.


Your duties will include:

  • Help develop a stock management system to support the PIP II SCM project.
  • Support projects with meeting organization and minute taking.
  • Support project managers with report writing.
  • Support the PMO with the development of templates, online forms and project dashboards.
  • Any other duties as required by the Line Manager appropriate with this position

What we are looking for:

  • An enthusiastic individual who will be able to bring new ideas and working practices across our department. (S&I)
  • A post holder with good interpersonal skills, good time management, prioritising and keyboard skills. (S&I)
  • An individual with some experience of working with SharePoint provision. (S)
  • An individual who has experience working as in a project environment (S & I)
Someone with knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (S)


Essential:

  • Evidence of practical aptitude, ability to do 'hands on' tasks (S&I)
  • Good technical communication skills and ability to work using own initiative (S&I)
