Position Overview


The role of this job will be to support the team in delivering high-quality care and learning provision in our early learning and childcare setting.

You will primarily work with the children during the busy lunchtime, supporting children to enjoy a positive, sociable mealtime experience while enjoying well-balanced, nutritious food.

Generic Role Requirements

  • Be qualified or be actively working towards a qualification in early learning and childcare to the required and recognised level eg HNC, SVQ Level
  • Be registered with the PVG scheme and SSSC and meet all their requirements.
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to delivering a high standard and quality service to all children and families in the setting
  • To act professionally and competently at all times, being a role model for the children and trainees in our setting.
  • Actively seek to improve and exceed standards
  • To work as part of a team in order to provide an inclusive and enabling environment in which all children can play, learn and develop
  • To be professional both in work and outside of work, supporting parents in feeling confident and trusting of Cairellot and our team.
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and committed to the role, maintaining a positive and respectful demeanour at all times in the workplace.
20/25 hours per week

£11.00 per hour.
