HR & Recruitment Assistant

Permanent

Salary ranging from £26,000-£28,000 per annum depending upon experience

371⁄2 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Lancing College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ambitious HR & Recruitment Assistant to join the existing HR team where we work hard together with shared values and vision for the College, Prep Schools, and Little Lancing Nursery.

We are looking for an individual who has worked in a similar HR environment with the ability to get the detail right first time.

You will be an individual that can manage all aspects of the recruitment process and can easily influence recruiting line managers on the most appropriate methods to successfully recruit to their vacant posts.

You will also be capable of forming and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to attract, recruit and retain the best talent for all four sites.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

In return for your commitment and hard work, we offer you a complimentary lunch, free tickets to College musicals, dance and drama performances, use of the gym and swimming pool facilities, access to books, magazines and DVDs from the College library, access to our Employee Assistance Programme, staff events, Christmas parties and end of term celebrations, free parking at our onsite car parks and access to cycle to work scheme.

You will also be entitled to 25 days annual leave, and we give you an additional 3 days leave between Christmas and New Year.

We are happy to talk about flexible/hybrid working.

Closing date:
Monday 6 March 2023

Interviews to be held on:
Wednesday 15 March 2023

To minimise unconscious bias or potential discrimination issues, a person who will not be on the appointed interview panel will conduct the search and will only share information when findings are of a concern.

The appointed panel may explore any concerns passed to them as part of our due diligence process.

The College is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore all convictions, cautions, reprimands, and final warnings (including those which would normally be considered "spent" under the Act) must be declared.

If you have a criminal record this will not automatically debar you from employment. Instead, each case will be assessed fairly by reference to the school's objective assessment.
