An exciting opportunity has arisen within our family run business for a HGV Technician to join the NRS GROUP workshop team based in Meriden - CV7
NRS is a multi-site Group of Companies specialising in aggregates supply, waste management and haulage services to the construction industry throughout the Midlands.
Based in Meriden NRS have recently built a bespoke workshop to enable us the maintain our 40 strong fleet of 8-wheeler tippers, artic units, volumetric concrete mixers, and various cars/LCV's.
We are currently recruiting for an HGV technician reporting to workshop foreman.The role entails:
To carry out periodic safety inspections, writing up of reports, rectification of any faults found, carry out routine servicing, MOT preparation/presentation, fault diagnosis using plug in diagnostic equipment and other duties relating to the maintenance of the fleet.
The sucessful candiate should have:
- City & Guilds part 1 & 2 /BTEC /IMI /NVQ in motor vehicle management.
- Volvo experience an advantage
- IRTEC certification
- HGV license preferably class I
- Experience of plugin diagnostics such as Eclipse & Volvo Tech Tool
Hours of work:
Monday-Friday 08:00-18:00
Saturday 08:00-14:00
