Milton Keynes
Hybrid working meaning 2 days in the office and 3 from home weekly.
12-month FTC
Full Time 35 hours
Up to £43,000pa depending on experience.
Join our team as Marketing Manager
The Student Marketing team support and motivate all ICAEW students throughout the time they are studying for their qualifications.
This is through a well-established marketing strategy along with UK and International student groups who volunteer their time to provide local support, events, and networking opportunities.
Role Profile of Marketing Manager
The main purpose of this role is to develop, implement, measure and evaluate strategic and tactical marketing plans, to support Education and Training and ICAEW corporate objectives in engaging with students as they progress to membership, ensuring the best possible experience.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are consulted, informed, and engaged with key initiatives and projects.
To act as a brand champion to embed the brand values across ICAEW, driving activity and change to ensure the brand objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities of Marketing Manager include:
- Develop and deliver content and communication strategies and plans to engage and support current students to maximise engagement.
ACA students in a training agreement, independent ACA students, Level 4 and Level 7 apprenticeship students, ICAEW CFAB students and BFP students.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in meeting the team, Education and Training and ICAEW objectives relating to the current student journey.
- Be the voice of the ICAEW student audience across ICAEW to help deliver student requirements and optimise the student experience.
- Effectively manage one direct report to deliver key projects throughout the year.
- Continually review the performance of marketing strategies, plans and processes to optimise budget and resources. Use insight to ensure that decisions made meet customer needs, as well as recommending areas of improvement. Opportunities to explore and activity to be ceased, adjusted, and trialled.
- Establish and build strong relationships with key internal (namely Student Support, Business Development, Exam Delivery, Logistics, Learning and International) and external stakeholders (including creative agencies and other thirdparty suppliers), working collaboratively to ensure marketing initiatives are optimised.
- Ensure that all plans, collateral, and activity have undergone the appropriate levels of collaborative development, integration with brand, data compliance / central operations and other ICAEW marketing activity / promotional campaigns and subsequent approvals.
- Always uphold and deliver the ICAEW brand values, on a personal and professional level.
Requirements of Marketing Manager include:
- Solid experience in marketing planning/strategy.
- Practical approach to planning, organising and implementation of marketing plans and activities.
- Experience of working across functional boundaries and building relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A high standard of written English and the ability to write creatively and proofread.
- Experience of working in a result driven environment including measuring, monitoring and the reporting of KPIs.
- Strong planning and organisation skills including time management.
Desirable but not essential
- Knowledge/experience in the professional/financial services or education sector.
- Experience of effectively managing, developing, and motivating direct reports.
- Marketing degree/ qualification.
