Tradewind are recruiting Are you a qualified teacher of Technology looking for a new role for January 2023 in Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Technology teacher to join a large secondary academy in Manchester to start from as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a full-time supply teaching role paying up to £200 per day for suitably experienced upper pay scale teachers.

The Role

Teacher of Design Technology - Resistant Materials and Product Design to GCSE

Experience of teaching practical technology lessons, making use of the technology department's equipment for CAD /CAM, 3D printing and carpentry equipment.

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education science specialists with experience of teaching DT to children aged 11 to 16.

To join us and be successful in this Technology Teacher role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
