This large membership organisation is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will be responsible for looking after your own directorate,driving financial performance in line with organisational strategy.

The line manager prides themselves on the professional development of their staff so with excellent on-the-job training provided, this is certainly not an opportunity to be missed


The key duties of this Finance Business Partner role are as follows:

  • Take the lead in the annual budget setting process, supporting budget holders to fill out their templates and challenging assumptions as required.
  • Sole charge for producing the monthly management reports for your area.
  • Produce budget versus actual reports, investigating variances and follow up with supporting commentaries.
  • Work with the other Finance Business Partners to produce the consolidated accounts and budgets.
  • Deputise for the line manager to produce financial models for new contracts, ensuring all new projects are costed correctly.
  • Prepare income reconciliations for your area and ensure all data is accurately reflected in the finance system.


This Finance Business Partner role will officially be based out of the organisation's Head Office in London but flexible working arrangements are on offer, including opportunities to work from home for up to three days per week.

Furthermore, the organisationalso has a brilliant reputation across the sector for employing and developing newly qualified professionals from practice who are looking to make their first move into industry.


  • At least part qualified as an accountancy professional (and still be actively studying).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and sumifs).
  • Experience producing a full set of management accounts.
  • A strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Brilliant communication skills and the confidence to liaise with Director level stakeholders.
