Toolmaker, Redditch, to £20 per hour
My client is Redditch based and is a successful and well-established manufacturer of metal components.

They are actively seeking to build and up-skill their in-house toolroom and seek to add a further Toolmaker to their team.

They are happy to approach this either by recruiting a fully qualified and proven Toolmaker or by looking at a less experienced Apprentice trained Toolmaker / Improver.

The position will involve the usual duties associated with toolmaking including CNC machining (milling, turning, grinding), bench work etc.

This would suit a good all-rounder. Knowledge of wire eroding would be good but is not essential. Experience of general flat metal / press tooling (single action possibly progression). CAD knowledge and skills would also be a real advantage.

Hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on a Friday.

The company have a very good working environment and looks after their staff, development is something they consider to be very important.
