Financial Controller - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Search Consultancy

Search are partnering with an organisation based in Birmingham, who are looking for a financial controller to join their team.
This individual will have experience working within SME businesses and a breadth of knowledge for a well rounded controlling role.
They will have been delivering month end processes for a finance function and looked after a small team of part and fully qualified finance professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a finance team
- Produce monthly management accounts, P&L,cash flows, variance analysis
- Produce budgets and operational reports for each business
- Accounting for all revenue, monthly reconciliation
- Preparing year end audit files for the statutory auditor and dealing with queries
- Assisting with payment runs and preparation of bank compliance reports
- Review of subsidiary accounts, budgets and reporting
- Assisting the FD with ad hoc projects
Person:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- 3+ years of PQE
- Experience managing a team
- Experience with managing a whole finance function
- Excellent communication skills
