Search are partnering with an organisation based in Birmingham, who are looking for a financial controller to join their team.

This individual will have experience working within SME businesses and a breadth of knowledge for a well rounded controlling role.

They will have been delivering month end processes for a finance function and looked after a small team of part and fully qualified finance professionals.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage a finance team
  • Produce monthly management accounts, P&L,cash flows, variance analysis
  • Produce budgets and operational reports for each business
  • Accounting for all revenue, monthly reconciliation
  • Preparing year end audit files for the statutory auditor and dealing with queries
  • Assisting with payment runs and preparation of bank compliance reports
  • Review of subsidiary accounts, budgets and reporting
  • Assisting the FD with ad hoc projects

Person:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • 3+ years of PQE
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience with managing a whole finance function
  • Excellent communication skills
