OVERVIEW:

The role requires you to lead the electrical design, development and support of the company's products using various technologies, engineering disciplines and resources as appropriate; to produce and support electrical / electronic designs for a range ofproducts, from initial concept through to production using the New Product Development (NPD) Process.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Electronics based Engineering Degree or equivalent qualifications
Proven track record in product design from concept through to post launch support
Use of EDA software for schematic capture and PCB layout to IPC standards.
Electronic assembly and prototyping.
Design and development of circuits for small/med volume manufacture
Understanding user requirements and concept generation
Problem solving, root cause analysis
System level design
Working to good engineering practice, regulatory and safety standards
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills, and should be able to converse with all levels of personnel and external customers and suppliers
