Night Support Worker on a full time, permanent basis in
London. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£23,846 per annum.

About the Night Support Worker Role:

As a
Night Support Worker, you will support and enable vulnerable people to sustain a tenancy living within the community through providing practical and emotional support to encourage tenants to take an active part in the community.

What we're looking for in our Night Support Worker:

Experience in providing support to vulnerable people either in a volunteering or professional role
An understanding of housing support needs of vulnerable people and benefits of a flexible, outcome focused and personalised support service whilst supporting people to help themselves
Thorough and up to date knowledge of welfare benefits for vulnerable people
Thorough and up to date knowledge of health and safety issues relating to vulnerable people

Responsibilities as our Night Support Worker:

Providing and offering support to an individual tenant consistent with the Peabody principles
Promoting the integration of the tenant into the local community and providing opportunities by which they will be enabled to develop skills and have access to the widest possible range of experiences
Ensuring that the tenants needs are met by liaising with other organisations providing access to community-based services and resources
Ensuring that the participation by the tenant in the management of all household tasks, through teaching and practical support
Involving the tenant in everyday household tasks where possible, and help to develop the skills needed to achieve this. Tasks include gardening, shopping, cleaning, cooking and all other normal day to day tasks
