The Role:
Customer
Assisting outsourced IT company in improving organisation's IT systems to minimise downtime Liaising with staff and monitoring Cedar Hub Help inbox for I.
T queriesInstallation and configuration of PC's/laptops and other hardware for the organisation and those whom they support
Setting up new users & passwords and maintaining the active directory
Liaising with Cedar Foundation to implement DX projects across multiple sites including new Payroll & HR and Asset Tagging platforms
Internal Processes
Diagnosing and resolving hardware/ software faults
Maintenance, development and support for Cedar Hub Intranet
Maintenance and development of SharePoint flows using power apps & power automate
Utilising Microsoft Office for day-to-day administrative tasks.
Web design/upkeep and social media maintenance.
iPlanit & active directory support including maintenance of distribution lists
Updating company resources such as meeting room bookings on Microsoft Exchange
Organisational Capacity
In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role of IT Placement Student to ensure all tasks are undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Cedar Foundation
Annual renewal of Cyber Essentials accreditation, working with external IT team to verify internal systems are up to standard
Participate in internal/external meetings, attend training events as required
Participate in regular supervisions to help identify your own job-related development and training requirements
General Comply with all policies and procedures within the organisation. Always undertake your role in a professional manner maintaining a high-quality standard of work and to always work in accordance with the aims, values and ethos of The Cedar Foundation. Undertake any other duties that may be required which are commensurate with the role.
Job Types:
Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 53 weeks
Pay:
£22,011.00 per year
