Do you have experience in adult safeguarding?


Would you like to use that experience to ensure adults in East Sussex are safeguarded against abuse and neglect? If so, a role in Health and Social Care Connect as a Safeguarding Senior Resource Officer may be a challenging and rewarding role for you.


  • Have good working knowledge and experience of East Sussex safeguarding policy and procedure;
  • Are selfmotivated and who possess personal resilience to manage the large volumes of referrals coming into our service;
  • Are able to deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment.


This is an office based role, Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and you would be working in a small dedicated team within the larger Health and Social Care Connect Service.

Whilst the work is varied and fast paced it does not involve ongoing case management and case holding and every day is different.

The Safeguarding Senior Resource Officer ensures that concerns get to the right service at the right time so that our vulnerable residents and clients get the help and support they need.

The role also involves the provision of a support and advice function to the wider Health and Social Care Connect team

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.


Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
