Labour Hire are looking for a IT PURCHASING SPECIALIST for a well-established company in HULL_This is a full-time, permanent position with NO agency probation period_
About You:

- A professional with proven experience in the specification and sourcing of a wide range of IT equipment and services.
- Can demonstrate the ability to use own knowledge and experience to guide and influence the purchase and delivery of colleagues' IT requirements.
- You will hold a relevant degree in computing or related field or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
- Can demonstrate the ability to seek ways to improve and adjust current levels of service. Deals with complaints and initiates contact with customers to obtain their reactions and views about the service and future needs.
- Can demonstrate the ability to identify and use a range of data, with the ability to combine various data types to produce reports and perform basic analysis.
About the role:
- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Salary: £30,619£36,333 per annum (dependant on experience)
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with stakeholders within and without the organisation through effective stakeholder management and regular supplier review meetings
- Provide day to day IT purchasing services for the University in accordance with procurement policies, procedures and service level agreements
- Support IT purchasing across a range of Research initiatives
- Facilitate value for money IT purchasing across the University aligned with University policy
- Support the IT Business Partners and Central Procurement Services in the management of strategic University wide contracts
- Maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT purchasing activities.
- You will be responsible for ensuring; Integrated and responsive service delivery; High levels of customer service, communication and feedback; Efficient deployment of resources; Compliance with legislation; Purchasing activities that optimise available economies of scale and best value for the University.
