About the role


The Customer Service department operators 7 days a week, supporting our sales and rental teams in the successful handover and ongoing assistance with our rental solutions.


You will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by creating quotations, handling customer enquiries, processing contractual documentation, produce internal handovers and ensure commercial compliance throughout the sales process.


Working as part of our small team on a shift rota system, this role is an exciting opportunity for you to be at the forefront of the MEMS rental operation.


About you


You will have a passion for providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers with the ability to work as part of a team albeit with the confidence to work independently and be self-motivated when required.


You will have strong communication skills both verbal and written; good organisational and interpersonal skills; be able to work in a pressured environment and be computer literate in Microsoft and have an awareness of bespoke software.

General experience within sales and / or customer services is preferred but not essential.


Key responsibilities

  • Initial point of contact for new and existing customers
  • Drafting of quotations and proposals for approval prior to submission
  • Escalate customer opportunities within the sales team as necessary
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Check product and labour resource availability
  • Processing and completion of standard documentation and reports
  • Assist customer with registration and account creation
  • Monitoring and responding to the MEMS Live Chat
