M & J Products Limited is looking for a full time Manual Machinist to join our team.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual machines, you would be required to set and operate machines such as lathes and mills including Capstan Lathes, Ward 7, Colchester, Bridgeport etc.
  • Must be able to read customer drawings and work to tight tolerances
  • Be willing to learn new skills and be part of our continuous improvement activities.
  • This is NOT a CNC Machinist role however there is scope to progress

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of machine tools, such as lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment (e.g. callipers) to measure material, parts, or products accurately and consistently.
  • Ability to use measuring jigs/tools (e.g. micrometers) to read precise measurements from production items.
Full time position, 40 hours.


Salary:
£13.00-£15.00 per hour
