About Us:

Protocol Education connects exceptional supply staff with UK schools and nurseries. We provide teaching talent for permanent roles, temporary jobs, and everything in between.

Job Duties:

Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions to students in the absence of the regular teacher
Follow lesson plans and ensure a structured learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and safe learning environment
Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues encountered
Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the school

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Enhanced DBS check
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Previous experience in a teaching role
Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
Experience working in diverse school settings

Working Conditions:

Parttime hours with flexibility in scheduling
Working in various schools within the Ipswich region
Potential for short notice assignments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
