If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Our client is seeking an Import Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Wednesbury, West Midlands.

As an Import Coordinator at our well-established company, you will play a vital role in managing sea, airfreight, and road shipments from initiation to completion.

Here's what you can expect in this exciting role:


Key Responsibilities

  • Proficiently handle the endtoend coordination of sea, airfreight, and road shipments, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Oversee imports, with a primary focus on ocean shipments (80%) while also managing road and airfreight.
  • Collaborate with external port/airport customs clearing agents for import customs clearances, streamlining the process and ensuring compliance.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in import coordination or a related role is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of import regulations and procedures is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and customs clearing agents.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a dedication to achieving results
