Service Care Legal are recruiting for local authority in the East Midlands who are seeking a Property Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE:
Property Solicitor


LOCATION:
East Midlands


RATE:
£40.00 to £50.00 per hour

CONTRACT: 37 hours per week, initial 3 months, potentially ongoing
Please note that this position can be a full remote working role.

The Role

  • To manage a full caseload of predominantly Commercial Property matters through to completion
  • Matters will include Commercial leases, licences, Deed of Surrender and Transfers to Parish Councils
  • Cases will also include General property law such as conveyancing practice and procedure (e.g. Right to Buy)
  • The effective and efficient preparation and processing in a timely manner of all legal documents (including contracts, section 106 agreements, deeds, notices, orders, consents and other formal agreements)

The Person

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
  • Full caseload management of Property matters would be essential for this position
  • Previous public sector working experience would be highly desirable for this position
