Job Title:
Area Sales Manager - North Area


Hours:
Full time - 39 hours per week


Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus 25-35% bonus opportunity

Job Purpose:

Due to continued expansion of the business, Deanta has created a new Area Sales Manager role to join our sales team in the north of England.

This is a field-based role, working alongside an Internal Sales Representative & Customer Service Executive,to manage an area and maximise sales of the Deanta product range.

This includes developing sales strategies to generate leads, attract new clients and close sales to achieve weekly and monthly quotas.


Responsibilities

  • Selling a comprehensive range of highquality interior doors and ancillary products
  • Selling to specialist door retailers/ builder merchants
  • Dealing with independent merchants and managing/expanding those accounts
  • Liaise with internal team regarding account management of existing clients
  • Approximately 60/40 split of time spent generating new business relationships and managing and expanding existing accounts
  • Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants
  • Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory
  • Achieving monthly set KPIs

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Proven track record of fieldbased sales within the construction industry
  • Preferable to have a track record of selling to independent merchants and ideally specialist retailers with joinery related products
  • Experience building new relationships with independent merchants
  • New business hunter mentality (not looking for an account manager)
  • Experience of developing long term relationships with clients
  • Full UK license
