OPOP Media has an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter to join an enthusiastic team of marketers at one of the fastest-growing digital media agencies in the UK.

We are based in Manchester City Centre with a model that gives start-ups and well-established companies a boost with our software solutions, web design, and marketing - with the aim to give these businesses security and scalability for the future.

Since starting in July 2020, we've expanded over the last two years and have never looked back.

Your duties:

Some duties will be based on showing enthusiasm to learn on the job.

A strong desire to learn on the job.
Good grasp of SEO for web.
Writing effective copy to assist in website conversions.
Research industryrelated topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
Ability to write in a creative style with personality.
Produce copy to promote our client's products/services on different occasions.
Prepare wellstructured drafts using Content Management Systems
Proofread and edit any content before publication.
Write content for social media (ad copy experience is desirable but not essential)
Recommend fresh ideas to the marketing team.
Update website content as needed with the team.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter and/or published work.
Portfolio of your work.
Essential experience doing research using multiple sources.
Familiarity with web content.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
Familiarity with SEO keywords.
Handson experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
2.1 degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related fields is desirable but not essential.

Degree-level education is desirable but we may hire based on your overall enthusiasm and experience in writing.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£18,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
