We invite you to join our clients expanding accountancy practice as a Payroll Specialist at their bustling Darlington office.

In this pivotal role within the payroll team, you'll be instrumental in delivering comprehensive payroll services, including auto-enrolment, to 250 clients across the Northeast.

Managing a monthly production of approximately 4000 payslips, you'll contribute significantly to our team of 8 payroll professionals.

Responsibilities:


  • Process payrolls accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform manual calculations of SSP, SMP, SPP, and reconcile with payroll software.
  • Verify information provided by clients, raising queries if necessary.
  • Generate reports for managerial review, rerunning as needed.
  • Upload pension details to meet deadlines.
  • Daily management of the payroll data inbox, resolving queries and responding to requests.
  • Produce yearend reports and issue P60s.
  • Ensure all payroll activities comply with legislative and statutory requirements.
  • Highvolume payroll experience in a bureau setting.
  • Working knowledge of payroll legislation.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to check work for accuracy.

Pay:
Up to £26,000.00 per year
