The Company:

This role needs an immediate start. My client is seeking someone with a background in a dynamic subcontract machining setting, ideally with formal training. Proficiency in setting and programming, particularly with Haas/Fanuc controls, is essential. Experience with 4th axis operations would be highly beneficial. Familiarity with Siemens Shopmill, Heidenhain, and proficiency in offline programming using Alphacam or similar software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Set up machines by loading tools, fixtures, and programs according to provided work instructions.
Operate XYZ CNC machines using Siemens controls to manufacture parts meeting specified tolerances and quality standards.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
Perform routine inspections to ensure machines operate effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Passion for manufacturing and engineering, with practical understanding and interest.
Strong grasp of CNC machine operations, tooling, and programming principles.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control methods.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Proactive problemsolving abilities and innovation.
Availability for overtime to support business demands when necessary.
Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Meticulous attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.
