Description

Our client is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work in the Walkeringham Area of Doncaster to start work immediately.

They provide a homely residential care setting that can accommodate 40 residents. They specialise in Alzheimer's, Cancer Care, Orthopaedic, Parkinson's Disease, Speech Impairment, Stroke and Visual Impairment.

You will be required to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing an individualised plan of care taking into account their personal care requirements.


We require our Care Assistants are required to have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care with all your relevant mandatory training being relevant and up to date.

You will be expected to work on a one to one basis with some residents at times.

You must have an awareness and passion to work with this type for resident as it is both a physically and mentally demanding but rewarding role.


You will be required to follow individual care plans and complete paperwork and reporting any problems to the senior members of staff.

You will be assisting in the resident's activities of daily living, including aspects of personal care. You will also take part in the homes daily activity sessions to entertain the residents. You will also be expected to take part in the daily housekeeping duties of the home.

Experience & Qualifications:

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Care Assistant you will need:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
  • A Referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Due to the location of the home having your own transport is recommended.
