The Senior Quality Advisor will be accountable for all project quality activities within assigned renewables project work packages, ensuring that all aspects of the work are compliant with project contractual requirements, the Company's BMS, as well as all regulatory and legal requirements.

The Senior Quality Advisor will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

  • Directing, managing and monitoring all quality activities and quality performance within assigned tender and project work package(s).
  • Supporting the development and implementation of project quality management, assurance, and control strategy.
  • Delivering and driving implementation of project quality plan.
  • Leading quality discipline document reviews on client contractual documents, internal and supply chain deliverables.
  • Providing quality support and direction to the Project Team.
  • Interfacing with client on all quality matters and client quality deliverables.
  • Driving and delivering Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) quality management approach within the assigned project work packages.
  • Leading nonconformance management, incident investigations, root cause analysis, reporting and trend analysis.
  • Managing quality assurance in relation to supplier and subcontractor evaluation, management and product or service delivery across a diverse, multitiered supply chain (national and international).
  • Collaborating with engineering technical authorities (e.g., design, LV/HV electrical, transport and installation, welding and materials, NDT and coatings) to ensure alignment with quality requirements and deliverables.
  • Quality Control (QC) management across onshore and offshore works (company assets and subcontractor or supplier sites).
  • Responsible for development of QC strategy and budget, resource forecasting, resource deployment and QC performance management.
  • Managing and delivering the audit programme within the assigned project work package(s).

Experience / Qualifications:

  • A degree qualification would be preferred.
  • Lead Auditor experience / qualifications are essential.

ISO 9000 Series, ISO 10005, BE EN

  • Previous experience in a similar role, within the renewables/subsea/oil and gas sectors, is essential.
  • Quality experience within both projects and operations is essential.
  • Experience in incident / failure event investigations and reporting, utilising root cause analysis tools and methodologies, is essential.
  • Previous experience in the supervision and mentoring of quality personnel within a team structure is desirable.
  • Applicants should have sound working knowledge of contractual mechanisms and technical codes and standards as applied in EPCI renewables/oil and gas projects, and associated product and service delivery.
