My client, a leading charity, are looking for an experienced finance professional to manage the financial processes and to present management information to the Senior team.


_The Role_:


  • Responsibility for all financial processes and direct reporting to the CEO
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets for the Finance subcommittee
  • Balance sheet control and reconciliations
  • Managing the completion of our annual external audit
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed for the management of finances
  • Manage the charity's expenses with regular cost reviews
  • Preparation and submission of payroll and supplier payments
  • Line management of the Finance Assistant

_The Essential qualities _

  • AAT qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in managing the finance function for another organisation
  • Knowledge in any accounting system, including experience in using them
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • An organised approach to work with effective prioritisation of tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • DBS
  • Experience in Sage 50c accounts and Sage 50 payroll
  • Experience in a charity or other notforprofit organisation
