My client, a leading charity, are looking for an experienced finance professional to manage the financial processes and to present management information to the Senior team.

_The Role_:

Responsibility for all financial processes and direct reporting to the CEO
Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets for the Finance subcommittee
Balance sheet control and reconciliations
Managing the completion of our annual external audit
Ensuring policies and procedures are followed for the management of finances
Manage the charity's expenses with regular cost reviews
Preparation and submission of payroll and supplier payments
Line management of the Finance Assistant

_The Essential qualities _

AAT qualified or equivalent
Experience in managing the finance function for another organisation
Knowledge in any accounting system, including experience in using them
Strong leadership and management capabilities
Strong numerical aptitude
An organised approach to work with effective prioritisation of tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
DBS
Experience in Sage 50c accounts and Sage 50 payroll
Experience in a charity or other notforprofit organisation
