RM Recruit are supporting a large Social Housing Provider with the recruitment of a Service Charge Accounting Manager for their team.

This fully remote role will see you will lead and manage the Service Charges team to further develop oversee the Service Charge process for all tenures across the Group.

You will work closely with a range of budget holders to focus on value for money forthe Group, communicate with external customers and ensure the provision of finance and management accounting information for the Group.

You remit will include, but not be limited to:

Leading the rent and service charge team while managing the preparation of the groups rent and service charge income and expenditure budgets
Leading on a detailed project to recost all service charges (12 month duration)
Overall management of a team of 9 staff (3 direct and 6 indirect reports)
Managing the rent and service charge setting annually for all new lettings and tenures
Via delegation, ensuring rent and service charge review notices are appropriately served on all tenants and lease holders
Liaising with external stakeholders to ensure all costs are correctly identified and income maximised
Creating service charge budgets for new developments
