CNC Programmer/operator - Slough, United Kingdom - Viable Recruitment

Description

As they expand their operations, they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team and take charge of of the job shop side of our business.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing quotes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Interpret customers requirements and engineering drawings to determine projects specifications
• Utilize Fusion 360 to program CNC machines, particularly HAAS mill and lathe, with precision and efficiency.
• Operate CNC machines independently, handling the entire machining process from set up to inspection.
• Work with a variery of materials, including ferrous, nonferrous, exotics, and plastics
• Oversee the end to end process, ensuring timely completion of customer projects.
• Manage and coordinate other employees as the demand for manufacturing increases.
• Utilize engineering systems to streamline the quoting process and enhance communication with customers
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Contribute to the production of parts for our in house product in the robotics industry.

• 7+ Years of Experience in the CNC machining with expertise in programming and operating HASS mill and Lathe.
• Proficiency in Fusion 360 and experienced with a wide range of materials.
• Experience with Engineering systems for quoting and customer communications.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
