Personal Assistant / Support Worker - No experience required
Regular Shifts
£15 - £17 per hour

As a Personal Assistant/ Support Worker you will be working closely with our client's family and friends, involving them in our client's care and giving them confidence and reassurance.
Our client
Our client enjoys a wonderful variety of activities, including Yoga, a range of music activities from rock to classical, gardening, swimming and socialising.
She doesn't have traditional language but uses signs (Makaton) and gesture as well as eye contact to make herself understood, she is a very determined communicator.
Due to her communication style, you will need to be a very good listener, with high levels of emotional intelligence and a calm disposition.
Shift pattern & Role
8am-7pm
7pm-8am

What we need from you:
- Supporting our client to achiever their true potential by working as a team to deliver their individual support plan
- To be flexible and versatile about what the work involves and agrees to undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested which is in line with the position
- To develop nonverbal communication skills in particular Intensive Interaction and Makaton Signing full training given
- Attending activities in the community in line with COVID safe environments such as; farming projects, swimming, eating out at restaurants, going for walks, music projects and local music groups
- Assisting with meal preparation and undertaking training in diet and nutrition
- Assisting with personal care
- Having loads of fun and eating lots of cake
