Global hospitality business with VC backing who have exciting growth plans in place and in motion are looking to bolster their business operation.

it's a brand-new hire for a Finance Manager. This will be a fully remote position.

Previously most financial activities were outsourced, the businesses perspective on this has changed, they would like the incumbent to be finance lead on accounting matters for this dynamic fast moving agile business.

Certain elements can still be outsourced,and external advice will certainly be available to utilise but the business would like the finance manager to be responsible for management accounts, budgeting/forecasting, general analysis and transactional accounting.

We are looking for hands on accountant that has experience working in SME environment, ideally you will have hospitality experience but certainly not a necessity, having experience on Xero or similar software/system is pretty essential.

Overall, the right person for this job will be someone who likes improving and streamlining processes, happy and comfortable sorting out problems, uses their own initiative and knows how and when to challenge.
